Our space and defense programs enable the warfighter to protect our nation and the explorer to extend our reach. The Aegis Aerospace team provides innovative, practical solutions that satisfy our government customers and suppliers.

Commercial Space

We serve commercial, civil, and DoD customers by providing end-to-end, turn-key R&D testing services in space. Our space testing as a service (STaaS™) platforms enable our customers and partners to focus entirely on developing their experiment or technology, and we do the rest.

Product Development

We develop payloads, experiments, small satellites, and other spaceflight products and  systems to be flown aboard the International Space Station, to any Earth orbit, or to the surface of the moon.

Aegis Aerospace provides the space and defense industries with a unique range of capabilities and turn-key commercial space services, technology and engineering services, and product development.

Space Testing as a Service (STaaS™)

Our STaaS™ platforms are the industry’s fastest, easiest way to increase Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), demonstrate, evaluate, and flight-qualify new products and technologies for space applications, and conduct  R&D experiments in the external space environment.

Lunar Systems

Our two lunar surface testing platforms — Regolith Adherence Characterization (RAC) and Space Science Test and Evaluation Facility (SSTEF) — enable customers to test their technologies on the Moon or conduct lunar science.

& Integration (SE&I)

Merging technical expertise and discipline to solve complex problems, whether as a service or an integral element of our projects.

Flight and Ground System Development and Operations

We design, build and operate satellites, payloads, ground stations, and other spaceflight and ground equipment for a wide range of government and commercial customers and applications.

Aegis Aerospace (pronounced ējis) is a leading, woman-owned, commercial space and lunar exploration company and an experienced, well-respected DoD and NASA contractor. Since 1992, Aegis Aerospace has helped the Department of Defense and NASA achieve their missions to defend our country’s security, reach for new heights, and discover the unknown for the benefit of humanity. Since 2015, Aegis Aerospace has been at the forefront of the commercial space services industry and, since 2019, developing lunar systems that help advance human understanding of the lunar surface and how to operate there. Formed in 2021 through the merger of Alpha Space and MEI Technologies, Aegis Aerospace offers innovative yet practical solutions in the areas of commercial space services, flight and ground system development and operations, systems engineering, and integration (SE&I), and related spaceflight products and defense support services.
