MEI Technologies salutes our Stellar employees!

This year, the 24th Annual Rotary National Award for Space Achievement (RNASA) Banquet was held in Houston, Texas. The RNASA banquet is an annual event to recognize outstanding achievements in space and create greater public awareness of the benefits of space exploration. We are proud to announce and congratulate Daniel Kelly, a Maryland-based MEI Technologies employee on the ESES contract, for receiving the prestigious 2010 RNASA Stellar Award – Early Career Category. Daniel received this honor for his outstanding innovation in the advancement of detector technology, including development and fabrication of the micro-shutter array for the James Webb Space Telescope.

MEI Technologies is also proud to have several other of our employees nominated for the RNASA award: James Avis – Early Career Category, for his outstanding technical contributions to the transition and upgrade of design management data. Jeffrey McQuillan – Mid Career Category, for his exceptional leadership and technical expertise in support of NASA’s Exploration Life Support Project Office in risk and earned value management, and development of process improvements. And the Integrated Suit Test Team that includes team rep Kurt Clowers and Tim Clark for exceptional dedication and achievement in creating a robust suited human performance testing process for the JSC Integrated Suit Testing.
