Aegis Aerospace Sending Payload to the Moon

In this recent Houston Business Journal article, “Aegis Aerospace sending payload on the moon on Firefly mission,” our RAC lunar test facility is discussed as well as our second lunar facility, SSTEF, which is set to head to the Moon next year.

RAC, which stands for Regolith Adherence Characterization, is currently Moonbound on Firefly’s Blue Ghost lunar lander. SSTEF, Space Science & Technology Evaluation Facility, is a multi-purpose facility that will be on Intuitive Machines’ IM-3 lunar lander.
