Decorated US Space Force Technology Leader Joins Aegis Aerospace
Aegis Aerospace, Inc. announced today that Col Dan Gallton, PhD (USSF, ret.) has joined the company as its Vice President of Strategic Market Development, reporting to the President.
Col Gallton had a celebrated 25-year career with the US Air Force and US Space Force, retiring as the Division Chief, Science and Engineering Division, of the Air Force Research Lab/ Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFRL/AFOSR). He has extensive program management and leadership experience in domestic and international science and technology, space superiority, and satellite procurement, development, operations, policy, and launch. He has a PhD in space physics and master’s degrees in physics, international relations, and national security affairs.
In his new leadership role, Dr. Gallton will engage with government agencies, key industry leaders, and international partners to help ensure that Aegis Aerospace’s strategic and technology roadmaps remain aligned with its customers’ emerging plans and needs. Dr. Gallton will also establish the company’s new Washington D.C. regional office.

Dr. Gallton joins the Aegis Aerospace leadership team to help ensure that the company’s strategic and technology roadmaps remain aligned with its customers’ emerging plans and needs. He will also establish the company’s regional office in Washington D.C.
