MEI Technologies, Inc. Lands the U.S. Air Force Hosted Payload Contract
MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT), a nationwide advanced technology company, has been awarded a contract under the Hosted Payload Solutions (HoPS) program making the company eligible to compete under a $494,900,000 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Contracting Directorate.
The purpose of the multiple-awarded HoPS IDIQ contract is to provide a rapid and flexible means for the government to acquire hosting capabilities on commercial satellites for government payloads. The contract, with a five-year ordering period, is designed to create a pool of qualified vendors to meet the government’s needs for various hosted payload missions.
“Over the past two decades, MEIT has safely and successfully integrated over 300 payloads,” shared MEIT Chief Executive Officer, David Cazes. “We are honored to utilize our expertise to support SMC’s HoPS program providing the government with hosted payload needs.”
