CivilianJobs.com, where America’s military connects with civilian careers, announced the winners for the MVE for Military today, which includes company MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT).  Marking the fifth year of its publication in 2013, the MVE recognition serves to help military-experienced job seekers and veterans identify the top employers to target for civilian careers.

“To be named as an MVE winner reinforces that our recruitment strategy and commitment to building relationships with our military-experienced job seekers is on target,” shared Sandra Stanford, MEIT Human Resources Director. “Thank you, CivilianJobs.com, for showcasing like-minded companies supporting our servicemen and women.”

“The sentiment to hire veterans is at a high in our country and the largest group of MVEs for Military to date reflects that fact,” said Sandra (Sandy) Morris, CEO, Bradley-Morris, Inc., parent company of CivilianJobs.com. “But military job seekers still need to know where to look. In keeping with CivilianJobs.com’s mission to connect America’s military with civilian careers, we hope that The Most Valuable Employers for Military recognition will help shorten the distance between veterans and jobs.”

The 2013 MVE for Military was open to all U.S.-based companies. The winners were selected based on surveys in which employers outlined their recruiting, training and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans.  In addition to being recognized in the May issue of Military Transition News, CivilianJobs.com’s worldwide military base newspaper, winning employers will also be displayed on the CivilianJobs.com website.
