MEI Technologies Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award
Officials with MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) today announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. MEIT maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009, to Sept. 30, 2010.
This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. MEIT is one of only 417 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.
“MEI Technologies proudly works according to its quality policy,” said MEI Technologies CEO Ed Muñiz. “Earning this recognition from Boeing for three consecutive years is a testament of our commitment to our work and to our customer.”
During this period of performance, MEIT supplied engineering and technical support services to Boeing for the International Space Station, Space Shuttle orbiter and Space Shuttle payloads.
