MEIT Captures Air Force EPASS Contract
MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) is proud to announce its award of the Engineering, Professional and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Task Order providing Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Program Development and Integration Directorate (XZ) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Work on this task order will commence on Sept. 28 and run for a five-year period (base plus options) carrying a total value of $56 million. The EPASS program is being procured using the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business (SB) contract vehicle from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS).
Under this task order, MEIT will provide engineering, information technology and programmatic support to the Air Force. Expanding the company’s footprint, MEIT will perform work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
Bruce Marshall, experienced acquisition program manager and former Commander of the 96th Air Base Wing at Eglin, serves as program manager. “MEIT is proud to serve the Air Force on our first prime contract win within the LCMC community,” stated Marshall. “This is a great win for a small advanced technology company to support important weapon systems development in the earliest stages to ensure new technology will be available to support our war fighters.”
“This contract will utilize MEIT’s expertise and experience in engineering, information technology, modeling and simulation and program management,” stated Richard (Dick) Watters, deputy program manager and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base site lead. “We are honored to support the development of future Air Force weapons and weapon systems.”
MEIT celebrates this important win with team members Bevilacqua Research Corp., Quantech Services and SURVICE Engineering Company.
