MEIT soars into its AS9100D Aerospace Standard certification

| As part of MEIT’s commitment to continuous improvement, the company this month earned a Certificate of Conformance from the ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS QE), renewing its AS9100D Aerospace Standard certification. The AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) standard is widely adopted to promote continuous product and process improvement in the aerospace and defense industry. Certification strengthens MEIT’s competitive position and standardizes critical processes, demonstrating MEIT’s commitment to continuous improvement in quality and delivery performance. AS9100 is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and is based on the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard. In addition to the ISO 9001:2015 requirements, AS9100D provides additional requirements and amplifications specific to the aviation, space and defense industry business operations. ABS QE, which is MEIT’s registrar, conducts yearly surveillance audits of selected processes, ensuring the company’s ongoing compliance to the AS9100 Standard. |
