MEIT to support Air Force on new OASIS task order

Officials at MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) have announced the company has been chosen to support Applied Research Solutions, Inc. (ARS) on the awarded $897M, 5-year task order contract FA8721-19-F-0005 as part of the Engineering and Professional Acquisition Support Services (EPASS) Program. As prime contractor, ARS will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate, also known as AFLCMC/HN.

The AFLCMC/HN Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, with additional activities at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio; Langley AFB, Virginia; Offutt AFB, Nebraska; Lackland AFB, Texas; Gunter Annex, Alabama; Peterson AFB, Colorado; Barksdale AFB, Louisiana; Pentagon, Virginia; Eglin AFB, Florida; Tokyo, Japan; and Wahiawa, Hawaii.

C3I&N Directorate’s primary mission is ‘Connecting Warfighters with Affordable, Secure & War-Winning Cyber, C3I & Network Systems.’

Brigadier General Michael Schmidt, the program executive officer and director, maintains a portfolio greater than $12B through the current future year defense program and provides C3I connectivity, network, and infrastructure for Joint, Coalition, Air Force, and Allied country needs across space, air, terrestrial, and cyber domains.

MEIT is an OASIS Small Business Prime Contractor (Pools 4, 5A and 6) and an OASIS Unrestricted Prime Contractor (Pool 6).
