STP-H10 FACT SHEET
Date and Spacecraft
Launch Date: December 2024 | Spacecraft: Columbus Module COL-SOX |
Mission Summary
STP-H10 is an external payload to be mounted on the Columbus Module COL-SOX site, comprised of seven DoD SERB and NASA experiments integrated on the single platform.
Payload Overview
STP-H10 experiments include:
- SPADE-3 (Space Plasma Diagnostic Suite)
- Demonstrate rapid impedance data acquisition and evaluate surface mounted sensor performance
- Falcon ODIN (Falcon Optical Defense and Intelligence through Neuromorphics)
- Design, develop, and test a novel means of detecting lightning and transient luminous using a neuromorphic camera
- TERI (cadmium zinc TElluride Radiation Imager)
- The objective of the experiment is to space qualify imaging large crystal CZT detector technology and associated front end electronics
- SPARTA (Space-Based Payload for Army Research Test-Bed Applications
- Weather radar capable of providing upper atmosphere weather data in a timely fashion for relevant DoD missions
- NERDI-1B (Neutron Radiation Detection Instrument -1B)
- The objective of NeRDI-1B is to characterize the on-orbit performance of microstructured semiconductor neutron detectors with low-cost commercial electronics for use in a space-radiation environment.
- SFXTI (Solar Flare X-Ray Timing Investigation)
- The research objective of the SFXTI investigation is to reveal intricate morphology of solar flare acceleration at high spectral resolution and at unprecedented spatiotemporal scales.
- SEED (Space Edge Experiments and Demonstrations)
- SEED is a developing edge-intelligent low SWaP payload capable of processing high resolution imagery on a reconfigurable basis for adaptive detection and/or classification of multiple areas and features of interest.
About the Space Test Program (STP)
The Space Test Program (STP) is United States Space Force DoD program under the Space Systems Command. STP performs exquisite services: mission design, payload-to-bus integration, space vehicle-to-launch integration, and on-orbit operations for S&T payloads that exhibit potential military utility. By advancing scientific knowledge and capability, STP is foundational to ensuring continuous STP advantage in the space domain. Aegis Aerospace has supported this work for over three decades.
