MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) is celebrating an important prime contract win on the DHEP Bridge Contract (DHEP-B) supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) Space Test Program (STP), performing work at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. The contract, beginning Nov. 1, is a cost-plus fixed-fee contract expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2016.

STP utilizes missions to the International Space Station (ISS) and associated re-supply launch vehicles to deploy experiments. On the DHEP-B contract, MEIT will provide support on: payload development and integration; on-orbit operations; program management; mission design; logistics; configuration control; and data management.

“Winning the DHEP-B contract is an important accomplishment for the company,” said MEIT CEO David Cazes. “This is legacy work for MEIT that has allowed us to successfully integrate more than 250 payload and experiment packages on the shuttle and ISS, and it is an honor to continue to provide expertise and support to the DoD.”

The MEIT experts supporting this work also support the Material International Space Station Experiment – X (MISSE-X) to provide unparalleled materials testing and data collection to the experiment community.
